The seed of redemption: Upon the helpless human body, the dystopic vengeance of nature takes place. However, if the human body becomes here a geography of destruction, the lyrics of this song don’t claim that nature is, trivially, vindictive. We would rather voice here two distorted ambitions of the human being: to see in nature an anthropomorphic projection (i.e. not only comprehensible, but also exploitable in every possible form), as well as a new, nostalgic idol that leads the illusion of a human-nature totalitarian unity—new danger and discomfort harboring in the civilization. If a form of redemption (we willingly use this word in a provocative, ambiguous way) may ever come, it can only start from a new ethical axis, in which mankind learns how to host that wounded heritage which should remind that, quoting Hannah Arendt, “men, though they must die, are not born to die but in order to begin”.
